Mario is the mascot of Nintendo and the main character of the Super Mario series. His name was originally Jumpman because of his legendary jumping abilities. He regularly rescues the kidnapped Princess Peach from Bowser and protects the Mushroom Kingdom from evil. When Mario isn’t saving the world, he’s usually found playing sports or going on vacation.
