Nintendo Wii
The Nintendo Wii is the fifth video game console released by Nintendo and is the successor to the Nintendo Gamecube. It is a seventh-generation console and competes with the two others (PS3 and Xbox 360). The most distinguishing feature of the Wii is the Wii Remote that is wireless and can sense movement in a three-dimensional space. The Wii remote can be held pointing toward the screen or held sideways. Another feature, WiiConnect24, allows the Wii to receive updates and messages while the Wii is on standby mode. The Wii Shop Channel allows players to download games online using Wii Points, which costs roughly a dollar for every 100 points. The Wii also includes Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, which allows the player to connect to the Internet and play against other players around the world.

Wii Fit is a videogame developed and published by Nintendo. It was released on the Nintendo Wii and comes with the Wii Balance Board. The entire game revolves around exercise and becoming physically fit. The Wii Balance Board measures the player’s weight and center of gravity. If given the player’s height, it can determine the player’s body mass index. The BMI has limitations and is not always accurate. Wii Fit includes around 40 different activities such as yoga, push-ups, aerobics, and other exercises. |

The Wii Remote is the main controller for the Nintendo Wii console. Nintendo created the Wii Remote with all ages in mind. What stands out about the Wii Remote is its motion-sensing capabilities. It can sense motion in three dimensions and can sense when it’s being moved, shaken, flipped upside down, turned sideways, etc. This innovative controller can become whatever the game you’re playing calls for: a tennis racket, steering wheel, sword, gun, guitar, or basically anything. It all depends on the game’s designers. |

The Wii Nunchuk is a controller for the Nintendo Wii that goes with the Wii Remote. By plugging in the Nunchuk to the Wii Remote’s expansion port, players can further enhance the Wii Remote’s capabilities. The Nunchuk has an analog stick on the top and two buttons on the front. Players might find it more enjoyable to use the analog stick instead of the D-Pad on the Wii Remote. The Nunchuk can also sense motion like the Wii Remote. |

The Wii Wheel is an expansion of the Wii Remote for the Nintendo Wii console used in driving and racing games. The Wii Remote fits into the center of the Wii Wheel and the player turns the Wii Wheel left and right to steer the vehicle (works like a steering wheel). One Wii Wheel comes with the Mario kart Wii game and extras can be purchased separately. |

| Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures
Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures is a videogame developed by Traveller’s Tales and published by LucasArts. This game is based on the first three Indiana Jones movies (Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade), but the game sheds a more humorous and less violent light on the storyline. It is made to be a family friendly game and has no references to Nazism like the movies. It features the same co-operative play mode as Lego Star Wars, which is made by the same company. |

We Ski
We Ski is a skiing videogame released on the Nintendo Wii. The player shifts their weight on the Wii Balance Board and uses the Wii Remote and Nunchuk as ski poles to make the experience as accurate and realistic as possible. The Wii Balance Board is not necessary to play the game. We Ski has 14 courses to choose from and also has day and night features.
